1977 – SKATING AROUND DISCO

1977 was a year full of musical struggles.  But “Disco” was clearly winning the battle.  Progressive Rock prevailed however, thanks to contributions from some great bands and artists from across The Big Pond.  During this year, I was the music director of my college radio station at Vanderbilt.  As expected, our station’s goal was to side-step all the Disco puddles along the way.  So we countered that by playing a bunch of deeeeeeeeep album tracks.

Listen to the Music of 1977 right here right now on Live365!  And check out this week’s playlist here.  Give me your comments and opinions by clicking “the balloon” at the top of this Post.  And I thank you for listening!
